National AI Framework Contribution

ECAIR's contribution to national AI governance work, including inputs to national AI governance policy development and public-sector AI governance principles.

AIGFPolicy

ECAIR's National AI Framework contribution connects the center's education AI governance work to wider public-sector AI policy development. The contribution included inputs to national AI governance policy development and helped frame governance mechanisms, ethical principles, and institutional responsibilities for responsible AI use. Its public value is ensuring that education AI practice is consistent with national expectations for trustworthy, accountable, and useful AI.

The work supports EDCOM II reform themes on education governance and responsible technology use by placing school-sector AI inside a broader public-policy frame. It aligns with Q-BEDP priorities on technology-enabled governance, Philippine Development Plan goals on digital transformation and innovation, and national AI governance principles for public-sector deployment. It also helps keep ECAIR's project-level controls connected to national policy conversations.

The process owners are the national policy stakeholders responsible for public-sector AI governance. ECAIR's office partners include DOST, NEDA, the Office of the President, and DepEd governance teams. ECAIR's role is policy contribution and technical advising, not ownership of the national framework itself.

The contribution remains part of ECAIR's continuing governance and policy work, helping keep ECAIR's public-sector AI practice aligned with national governance principles as public guidance evolves.
