Abstract
SIKAP examines how school-leadership exam outcomes can inform leadership readiness, school performance, and the development of aspiring principals.
Background
The work began as ECAIR's first data-driven policy research project and became the model for research that changes a decision.
Method
The project analyzed NQESH-related data, consulted BHROD and NEAP leadership, and validated findings across multiple DepEd regions.
Key Findings
Assessment results can support leadership development when interpreted as part of a broader readiness and school-performance picture.
Policy Implications
The brief was turned over to NEAP and adopted by NEAP and EDCOM II.
